The almost identical looking Rolex Sea-Dweller which improves on the water resistance rating be increasing from 300 m water resistance to 1220 m water resistance and adds a helium release valve, but looses the cyclops lens adds a small premium to the price with an MSRP of US$6,225.

Rumor is that British Authorized Distributors have confirmed the price in the UK will be £4750. That means the US dollar retail price will likely be between $9,000 to $9,500. Yikes! Here is hoping the rumors are wrong and the final retail price will be lower.

July 11, 2010 update. The Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA currently has a suggested retail price of US$9,250. However, you should manage to get a 10-12% discount on this watch, or just over US$8K.
