Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124J

Patek Philippe Gondolo. The Gondolo line of watch was introduced by Patel Philippe in 1993. It is Patek Philippe's interpretation of the Art Deco style. The name of the collection was derived from the “Chronometro Gondolo” watches that were manufactured by Patek Philippe for the renowned Brazilian retailer "Gondolo & Labouriau" between 1902 and 1930.


Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124J. The Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124J was announced by Patek Philippe in 2008 at Baselworld. The Ref. 5124J features a cambered tonneau case in either white or yellow gold. It is a time only watch, displaying only the hour, minutes and seconds. The seconds are display in a subdial at 6 o'clock giving the watch a decidedly classic look. The Ref. 5124J has a slim 33.4mm x 43mm case.


Movement. The Ref. 5124J is powered a manual-winding Patek Philippe caliber 25-21 REC PS movement which is merely 2.57 mm high. The movement which produces 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and has a 44 hour power reserve. The movement is visible through a clear case back.


About Patek Philippe. Patek Philippe & Co. was founded in Switzerland in 1851. The companies emblem, the Calatrava Cross, was adopted by it at the end of the 19th Century. It is acknowledged as one of the finest, if not the finest, watchmaker in the world.
