Baselworld 2010: OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Annual Calendar

Aqua Terra Annual Calendar. At Baselworld 2010, Omega brings us the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8611 movement first seen in the Omega Hour Vision Hour calendar, in a more conventional Seamaster Aqua Terra Case.

This watch has a day and month display, an being a annual calendar, the month display is functional. The watch recognized months with 30 and 31 days, and the date only needs to be corrected once a year, on the first of March.

Complication watches have a certain look. They look like complication watches. The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Annual Calendar looks like a conventional sports watch, which is something we do not see often. In fact I am hard pressed to find a direct competitor.

We do not have many details now, and will have to give this watch another look once we get more information.

About Omega SA. The forerunner of Omega was founded 1848, by Louis Brandt. The name Omega was first used in 1894. It was used as the name of one of the Louis Brandt brother’s watch movement calibers.
