IWC has launched three watches as part of a line called the Boutique Exclusive Edition. These three watches are limited editions, available only in Red Gold, and can only be purchased from IWC boutiques.
The first of these three watches is the Portuguese Hand-Wound. It design is a modern reflection of the first Portuguese watches of 1939, made more contemporary by the use of a large 44 mm case. Inside is a hand-wound 98295-calibre movement, which has stylistic references to the first F. A. Jones pocket watch movements, such as an elongated index and a three-quarter plate.
The dial has the classic design with a small hacking seconds at 6 o’clock.
The production of this stunning watch is limited to 1,000 pieces.
