GMT. There has long been a need for watches that keep track of time in two different time zones, and many watches have been designed to meet this need. These watches known as GMT or Dual Time watches display two time zones.
Most GMT watches display two time zones is through the use of an independent fourth hand on the main dial which turns once every 24 hours, which is read in conjunction with an bezel with 24 hours markers. Another option is to have a second or sub-dial with an hour hand that can be set independently from the first.
Oris Artelier Worldtimer. The Oris Artelier World Timer displays two time zones using a hour/minute sub-dial mounted on the 3 o'clock position.
An interesting feature in this watch are the buttons on the four and eight o'clock positions. These two quick adjustment buttons which move the hour hand in the main dial by plus one hour and minus hour, with each button press.
The Artelier World Timer uses a modified version of the ETA 2836-2 self-winding movement which produces a 28,800 vibrations/hour (4Hz). A sapphire crystal case back allows you to admire the movement. The watch has a fairly large dial with the entire case measuring 42.5mm which is water resistant to 30m.
