Best seller. The Rolex Datejust is probably the biggest seller on the Rolex line-up and probably, together with the Day-Date, the watch that most distinctively conveys the Rolex look and image.

The Datejust comes with a choice of one of four bezels: domed, fluted, Turn-O-Graph or diamond studded. It comes available with both steel bracelets and leather straps. With the steel bracelets you can get either a Oyster bracelet or a jubilleee bracelet and you have a choice four different "color" schemes: All stainless, two-tone yellow gold, two tone rose gold or all yellow gold. With the leather straps you get a choice of a white gold or yellow gold case with a strap appropriate to the color of the dial. Dials come in a variety of colors and designs and can come with stick markers, Roman numerals, Arabic numerals or studded with jewels and bagets. All in all, there are more than 100 versions or variants of the Datejust.

Specifications. The Datejust is a mid-sized watch with a 36mm case diameter. Inside you have the tried and tested COSC certified Rolex 3135 self-winding movement which produces 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and has a fifty hour power reserve. The date is displayed in the 3 o'clock position under a magnifying "cyclops" lens. The Datejust was actually the first watch to ever display the date on the dial. This was an innovation which Rolex introduced in 1945. In 1954, the magnifying cyclops lens was added.

Like other Rolex watches, the steel and two-tone version are built from 904L steel, which is three times harder than the steel used by most other manufacturers. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
