Another price reduction on the Rolex Milgauss 116400 GV

We have been following the price of Rolex Milgauss watches for the past few weeks checking on online resellers Swiss Luxury's prices. Of particular interest is the Milgauss 116400GV with the green crystal glass.

As we had expected, the price of this watch, which sold for three times it manufactures suggested retail price when first released last year has been dropping steeply. On June 25, 2008, Swiss Luxury listed this watch at US$13,700. Two weeks later the selling price went down to US$12,495. This was roughly a ten percent drop in price in two weeks.

The price at Swiss Luxury went down again a few days ago, now down to US$11,095. This means another price drop of more than ten percent in less than a months time.

All in all the green glassed Milgauss dropped in price by 20% in 40 days. Looks like it should be hitting MSRP by years end.

Update. An more recent update has been posted here: Rolex Milgauss price drop saga continues.
