Rolex Datejust Marker and Dial Options

Date watch. The Rolex Datejust is probably the biggest seller on the Rolex line-up and for the average working person, the most useful watch in the Rolex line-up. In addition to providing the time, the Datejust displays the date on the dial. The date complication is undoubtedly the most useful feature device in watchmaking history. Next to telling the time, it is what most users need to be reminded of.

While, probably not the favorite of the enthusiast who generally crave even more feature packed watches, the Datejust is the darling of the average Joe, suitable for formal wear and not out of place with more casual wear. As a testement to its popularity, Rolex Datejusts are available in more variations than any other Rolex model except for the equally popular Rolex Daytona Cosmograph.

For markers (from top to bottom), you have a choice of batton (or stick) markers, Roman numerals, arabic numerals or jewels as markers.

There is an equally varied choice in dials which come in not only in a variety of colors, but also of styles. Dials come in the Jubille pattern with "Rolex Rolex Rolex" printed all over the dial. Other choices are the elegant choice is Mother of Pearls, the striking suburst pattern, the two tone "Tuxedo" dial, the pyramid dial (not pictured at right) and the sporty concentic dial (not pictured at right).

Rolex, pretty much makes a Datejust for every personality.
