Longines Legend Diver

Re-Issue. The Longines Legend Diver, is a re-issue of a 1960 diving watch produced during the glory days of marine exploration and military and commercial diving. In 1953, Longines had participated in the depth record of the bathyscaph “Trieste”, supplying the on-board instruments. Maintaining all of the spirit and design typical of the 1960s, Longines has maintained the classic look of the Longines Legend Diver while updating its technical features.

Longines Legend Diver. The Longines Legend Diver has a 42 mm stainless steel case with internal rotating bezel, similar to the design you find in the IWC divers watches. The watch has screw-down crowns, one to manipulate time and the other to manipulate the internal rotating bezel. A screw-down case back featuring an embossed diver symbol. The watch is water resistant to 300 meters.

A scratch-resistant sapphire glass protects a black dial featuring 4 Arabic numerals and Superluminova hour markers. This watch is mounted on a black synthetic strap with a stainless steel clasp.

The watch is powered by the L633 self-winding mechanical movement which produces 28,800 vibrations per hour. The L633 movement is a modified ETA 2824 movement. The movement has a 38-hour power reserve.
