Annual Calendar. Many watches display the date on their dial. But since some months have only thirty, twenty-nine of twenty-eight days, you need to adjust the date at least five times per year. A annual calendar is a mechanism that automatically takes into account the months with thirty or thirty one days so that the watch displays the correct date each month without the need of adjustment. The only time you need to adjust the date is on March 1 of every year.

The new Ref. 5205 Annual Calendar has a white gold case with a 40 mm case diameter. Two choices of dial with dials available in either a combination of rhodium and silvery gray or matte black and slate gray. There apertures on the top half of the dial indicate the day of the week, the date, and the month. On the bottom half of the dial, the watch has a moon phase and am/pm indicator.
