IWC Schaffhausen has released details of the new watches it will be showing off at SIHH 2012. Five new TOP GUN models are being released this year.
The flagship of th TOP GUN line is the Miramar, a flyback chronograph watch. A new "classic" TOP GUN watch, with black and white with red highlights, will also be released as well as new Spitfire models. IWC is also releasing a Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN and the Spitfire Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month.
The most popular IWC Pilot's watches, the Big Pilot’s watch and Mark XVI will appear in modified forms. The Mark XVII is 2 millimetres larger, at 41 millimetres, than the older Mark VXI. A new Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph will also be released, in a larger 46mm case diameter. The case of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph has increased by 1 millimetre to 43 millimetres. The new Pilot’s Watch Worldtimer has a 24-hour ring that enables the wearer to look at all 24 time zones, including the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). A city ring shows the names of 23 places around the globe, each of which represents a time zone.
