IWC Pilot's Watches - The Art of non-design

A few weeks ago we posted an article tracing the evolution of IWC's classic Pilots "Mark" watches. IWC in their website has posted an article by Alexander Linz on the philosophy, so to speak, of the design of its pilots watches.

“In a sense, a Pilot’s Watch encapsulates the art of non-design. It’s a bit like the watch a child would draw: round, with a clear outline and two hands.”  - Christian Knoop, Associate Director of IWC’s Creative Centre in Schaffhausen.

It is an interesting read. You can read the article at this link.
