Rolex GMT Master II Clasp Failure

A small number of Rolex GMT Master II watches have suffered clasp failures.

The problem reported in this thread at the Rolex Forums is apparently caused by when the screw that secures the clip end of the clasp to the bracelet works itself loose. Apparently Rolex AD's secure the screw by adding a bit of loctite. In this case it appears no locite was applied allowing the screw to come loose.

As can be expected from a company like Rolex, the clasp will be replaced at no cost.
