Tenth Anniversary. With less than two weeks before the BaselWorld 2010 show, Oris announced on March 5, 2010 the release of a new BC3 aviation watch, called the BC3 Sportsman. The redesigned BC3 commemorates the tenth anniversary of that line.

Oris has always had a thing about red. I paints it rotors on its movements red. Now it is new BC2 Sportman has a red inlay on the crown.Notably, other than the new BC3 Sportman, the only other watch in the BC3 line-up is the Day-Date. Oris two other lines of aviation watches, the more modern BC4 and classic Big Crown line-up.
